Kerjaya Prospek will PRESENTING AND HOSTING Miss Tourism World Finals
2015 in Swiss Garden Hotel & Residences , an international pageant
which aims to endorse the beauty of both contestants and the country
they represent as well as to promote the tourism and culture if each of
the host nations in this event, Malaysia.
Melaka Chief Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Ir. Hj. Idris bin Hj. Haron in the press conference on 5th January 2015 said , Melaka State Government on the other hand supports this event due to coverage from the world media would become the domino effect towards promoting Melaka tourism activity and recognizing the efforts putting in by Kerjaya Prospek in bringing the international world class event to Melaka. Its direct influence on the tourism of the host country has dramatically increase with tourist figures rising from 30% to 60% and this will help to boost up Melaka's international profile.
Kerjaya Prospek In their letter to Melaka Chief Minister, such significant event has a very good potential to evaluate our tourism industry further as it would showcase Malaysian hospitality, beautiful tourist sights, spectacular culinary delights and diverse culture that Melaka as an UNESCO World Heritage City has to offer along Malaysia to the rest of the world. They believe , by hosting Miss Tourism World Finals 2015 in Melaka, they would compliment Melaka's objective to be promoted as an outstanding tourist destination and present Melaka as infinite national heritage.
The event's objective are to promotes the world peace, cleanliness, environment global issues and tourism.
Yesterday, CM was joined by 54 beauty pageants helps cleaning the Jonker Street area by pick up all the litters and trash along the street to persuade and educate the public and the traders for not littering the area. Jonker Street is well known as a must visit tourist spots in Melaka. The State Government has been received complains from tourists who are not happy with the cleanliness level in that area. Soon, litterbugs in Melaka literally forced to clean up their own mess, after new by-law to be passed next month and to be implemented soon.
