Philea Resort and Spa, Melaka Receives The Green Hotel Award 2016

recognized for its commitment to the environment, receiving the Green Award at
the ‘Anugerah Hijau Negeri Melaka Tahun 2016’ for hotel category, awarded by
the Chief Minister of Melaka YAB

The
prestigious award adds to a list of green accolades that includes the Best
Green Hotel by the state of Melaka and Top-10 Eco-Friendly Hotels by Agoda.com,
applauding the outstanding environment efforts by the resort.
The annual
Green Award recognizes environmentally-conscious organizations that have shown
excellence in green practices. The stringent judging criteria include energy
and water efficiency, waste recycling, air quality management and environmental
sustainability.
The green ambassadors
are appointed within the resort to promote the benefits of going green,
cultivate moral values among the associates, conduct Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) activities, execute and disseminate information related to
environment conservation and sustainability.
